the lighting was utterly dismal, making me question if they think their guests prefer to wallow in darkness. plus, receiving a twin room instead of the double I booked was just plain rude. I thought I’d woudl ve been offered some compensation for the hassle, but here we are. disappointed beyond measure.

We had such a nice time here! The owners were super friendly, and we loved chillin' in the bar area after dinner. The full English breakfast was solid, and we enjoyed playing pool while listening to our fave tunes. One little thing, the room could've used better lighting at night. But the views were just wow!

On another note, room amenities are limited, with a lack of basic toiletries and storage options that make it feel a bit lacking. Noise disturbances from other guests can break the tranquility, and the overall room lighting is insufficient for nighttime use. Some guests even had issues with room configurations, leading to a frustrating start to their stay. Lastly, parking options could be clearer, especially during busy times, causing confusion for those driving in.

this place is super unique and filled with military memorabilia, which gives it a lot of character. the owners are really friendly and supportive of veterans. it’s also a short walk to the beach, and breakfast was filling and cooked well. i loved hangin out in the themed lounges, they are cool spots to chill with other guests. great view from my room too, made mornings special.
